Teach Encourage Accommodate Mentor (TEAM)

Purpose:

  • Bridge the gap between Behavior Specialist/BCBA and classroom staff.
  • Support staff in education, development and implementation of behavior support plans and provide behavior-analytic services under BCBA supervision.
  • Educate and mentor district staff on ABA and evidence-based practices.
  • Support, mentor and education teachers and classroom staff in basic classroom interventions, structure, and instructional/curriculum modifications or development.

Will strive to achieve this purpose by providing consultation and technical assistance to school age children who may be eligible for board services but remain in the local school setting. This service is provided by referral and in collaboration with school districts and IEP team.

Redefining Education & Achieving Community Healing (REACH)

Purpose:

  • Gain the understanding, respect, and acceptance of diversity (including students with exceptionalities)
  • Create a sense of belonging for all students
  • Build a community and promote inclusion
  • Create access to the general education classroom for all students
  • Build equity and integrity
  • Promote friendships and relationships for all students
  • Educate on how to adapt for and appreciate differences

Will strive to achieve the above purpose by modeling inclusion and acceptance (for educators & peers alike) of all students through group learning activities such as: Literacy activities that help to identify and understand differences, engaging hands-on activities that allow all students to participate, lessons that work to meet learning standards and/or Social Emotional Standards. This service is provided by referral and in collaboration with school districts and IEP team.
